Vay makes getting around the city effortless – and now, it saves you from the frustration of searching for parking.

Introducing “Remote Valet”, a new feature designed to eliminate the stress of finding a parking spot in busy areas. With “Remote Valet”, one of our Remote Drivers will drive the car away after you step out – saving you time by avoiding circling to look for a parking spot. Whether you’re finishing your trip downtown or heading to a busy event, you can now end your ride hassle-free.
How to use
When driving a Vay car, you have two options for ending your trip: self-parking or using the Remote Valet feature. To request “Remote Valet”, simply pull over in a safe location and open the Vay app to request the service.
You are all set – let’s get started. Click on “Request” in the blue new feature section – beneath “Stopover” and “End rental”. A Remote Driver will connect to your vehicle within moments, and you will see their name, photo, and live status.
The Remote Driver will greet you and instruct you when to exit the vehicle, confirming that you wish to end your rental. The Remote Driver will take the vehicle away, parking in any available spot or driving it to the next user.
Please note that the Remote Valet service is available within the white service area during operation hours (6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
How it works

Vay’s Remote Valet feature utilizes the same advanced remote driving technology and certified Remote Drivers responsible for vehicle delivery. Now, these drivers can also handle the ride wrap-up for you.
Our Remote Drivers sit at Remote Driving Stations equipped with automotive-grade components. Thanks to cameras and microphones that reproduce road traffic images and sounds in real time, they experience outstanding sights and surroundings awareness – entirely eliminating any blind spots that a driver physically present in the car experiences.
The Remote Driver will guide you through the next steps via a microphone installed in the car – such as ensuring that the car is located within Vay’s operational area and reminding you to take all your belongings with you. They will then instruct you when you can exit the car, fully ending your ride.
Remember: The Remote Driver can only begin the Remote Valet service once you have clicked on the “Request” button first, then on “Confirm” within the app.
