Remote Driver

Operate passenger vehicles remotely across cities

Drive vehicles from our Remote Driving Center to customers within our service areas, supporting deliveries, testing, and daily operations. As we expand into new cities, you’ll be part of scaling a new mobility model across the country.

Best for: Drivers with 2+ years of professional experience who are comfortable with technology and want to be part of something growing.

Remote Truck Driver

Operate commercial vehicles remotely using advanced assisted autonomy tech

As a Remote Truck Driver, you’ll help shape the future of freight using assisted autonomy systems developed with Kodiak, leader in autonomous vehicles. Instead of traditional over-the-road trucking, you’ll work from our Las Vegas Remote Driving Center to remotely operate commercial vehicles, complete system checks, and support logistics.

Best for: CDL drivers with 3–5 years of commercial experience looking to apply their skills in a cutting-edge environment.

Safety Driver

Drive test vehicles on public roads while following structured test plans and safety protocols.

You’ll work closely with engineers and support the training and validation of our Remote Drivers, helping ensure every vehicle and system meets strict safety standards before operating in the field.

Your feedback and judgment directly influence how our remote driving operations grow and scale.

Best for: Safety-focused drivers who are detail-oriented and comfortable following structured procedures.

Field Support Agent

This is a hands-on, operational role that keeps vehicles ready for deployment.

You’ll assist with charging, inspections, cleaning, repositioning vehicles, and supporting overall fleet logistics all over the city.

Best for: Drivers who enjoy variety, staying active, and working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly.

Our Hiring Process

For all roles, you will need:

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL required for commercial truck roles)
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional driving experience (3–5+ years for CDL positions)
  • Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Talent Team Interview

Start with a 15 minute call with our Talent Team. We’ll walk through your experience, the role, answer any questions you may have and tell you about our journey at Vay.

On-site Interview

Come on-site to meet the team and show us how you drive.

You’ll meet your prospective manager during a short 1:1 session. Every candidate then completes a driving session relevant to the role – whether that’s conventional driving, remote driving, or commercial vehicle assessment. We’re not looking for speed. We’re looking for safety, focus, and sound decision-making.

Offer & Final Checks

If it’s a match, we’ll move to the offer stage.

From there, you’ll complete standard pre-employment steps including a background check and drug screening. Once cleared, you’ll move into onboarding and training.

What You'll Earn

Safety Driver / Field Support Agent
$18 p/h, paid bi-weekly.

Remote Driver
$18/hr during training, $25/hr after training, paid bi-weekly plus safety-related bonus monthly

Remote Truck Driver (CDL Required)
$31 per hour, reflecting commercial license requirements and experience. Paid bi-weekly.
