Frissora to Offer Strategic Insights for Vay’s Growth, Partnerships, and Operations as Remote Driving Start-Up Eyes Further Expansion
LAS VEGAS, Nev., September 9, 2025 – Vay, a leading provider of automotive-grade remote driving technology, today announces the appointment of Mark Frissora as a Senior Advisor. In this role, Frissora will provide strategic counsel during a pivotal time in Vay’s growth, as the start-up scales and aims to become the leading remote driving platform.
Frissora brings over four decades of experience in the automotive and hospitality industries – namely serving as CEO at three different companies, and leading two of those Fortune 500 companies through successful IPOs. Most recently, Frissora was President and CEO of Caesars Entertainment, where he led Caesars out of bankruptcy and through a reemergence listing on NASDAQ in 2017. Previously, Frissora was CEO at both Hertz and Tenneco, bringing a strong track record of generating stakeholder and shareholder value in both private equity and public markets.
“Vay is an industry disruptor, and the next big player in the future of transportation,” says Frissora. “The new era of the automotive industry is here, with Vay’s cutting-edge remote driving technology at the forefront. I look forward to being a part of it.”

Frissora will work directly with Vay’s leadership team as Vay eyes expansion to more cities in 2026. Frissora will optimize operations, facilitate partnerships, and enable further growth for Vay’s door-to-door car rental service.
“Mark brings decades of experience in the automotive industry, along with a keen knowledge of the Vegas market, where Vay calls home,” says Thomas von der Ohe, CEO and co-founder at Vay. “We look forward to a long-term collaboration, and his expertise will help take Vay to the next level as a leader in remote driving.”
Mark holds a B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and has completed executive development programs at Babson College and the Thunderbird International School of Management.
