At Vay, we’re constantly looking for ways to make getting around Las Vegas simpler.
This year, we introduced a number of new features and improvements to the Vay app, from making it easier to plan a trip to giving you more flexibility when your phone or car battery is running low.
Here are five updates you can use on your next Vay trip.
1. Offline Mode: Stay Connected to Your Car
Sometimes, a trip takes you somewhere your phone signal doesn’t quite cooperate.
With Offline Mode, you can still access key parts of your Vay trip, such as locking and unlocking your vehicle or using the Stopover feature, when you temporarily lose your internet connection. It’s designed to make the experience more reliable when connectivity isn’t perfect, so you can spend less time worrying about your signal and more time getting where you’re going.
Whether you’re heading into a parking garage or passing through an area with spotty service, Offline Mode gives you another layer of flexibility during your trip.

2. Apple Pay & Google Pay: An Easier Way to Pay
Booking a Vay just got a little simpler.
You can now use Apple Pay or Google Pay as your payment method in the Vay app. Instead of manually entering your card information, you can use the payment method already set up on your phone.
It’s one less step between opening the app and getting on the road.

3. A Better Map: Finding Your Way Around Vay
The map is one of the most important parts of the Vay experience. It’s where you find available cars for self pick-up, request a car to be delivered, or check where you can end your trip with Remote Valet or self-park. This year, we made improvements to the map experience to make it easier to understand where you can use Vay. This includes simpler color mapping and minor bug fixes to make your experience seamless.
We’ve also expanded our service area by 60% throughout 2026, making it easier for more people across Las Vegas to get around the valley.
As Vay continues expanding, having a clear view of the service area and available locations becomes even more important.

4. Trip Planner: Plan Your Route Before You Book
Planning a trip with Vay starts before you get behind the wheel.
With Trip Planner, you can enter your pickup and drop-off locations in the Vay app and see an estimated trip cost before reserving a vehicle.
That means you can check what your trip might cost or where you can end your trip hassle-free before you commit, whether you’re heading across town, running errands, or planning a longer drive around Las Vegas.
It’s a simple way to answer the first questions you might have when planning a trip: “How much will this cost?” and “Where can I end my trip?”

5. Car Swap: Drive further with your Vay
Running low on battery shouldn’t mean your plans have to stop.
When you’re planning a longer day trip with your Vay, Car Swap allows you to check the battery of your car and request an alternate vehicle with a higher battery level before you start your trip.
It’s another way we’re working to make electric car rental more convenient for your long-haul trips, especially when you’re going farther across the Las Vegas Valley.

What’s Next for Vay?
These are just some of the ways we’ve been improving the Vay experience throughout 2026.
From planning your trip before you book to making it easier to stay on the road, each update is designed around a simple goal: making it easier to get where you’re going.
And as Vay continues to grow across Las Vegas, we’ll keep looking for ways to make the experience simpler, more flexible, and easier to use.
