Last week, we announced a strategic partnership with Kodiak, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology.
Vay’s remote driving technology enables Kodiak’s Assisted Autonomy system by allowing a Remote Driver to control trucks from Vay’s Remote Driving Stations whenever human oversight is needed. This integration gives the Kodiak’s fleet greater flexibility to operate across a broader range of locations and scenarios.
Kodiak uses Vay’s technology to support driverless operations in the Permian Basin of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Additionally, the Kodiak Driver leverages remote driving for key long-haul use cases—such as launching and landing trucks at customer facilities and handling low-speed driving situations, including interpreting law enforcement hand signals.
We’re proud to demonstrate how Vay’s remote driving technology is a critical enabler of scalable autonomous trucking. As our CEO and co-founder, Thomas von der Ohe, puts it:

Vay In The Bay: Showcasing Remote Driving In And Around San Francisco
In May, we hit another exciting milestone. In record time, our team brought our remote driving technology to the Bay Area as part of a roadshow to meet investors, the wider stakeholder ecosystem, and the media in major parts of San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Mountain View – entirely remotely driven from our office in Las Vegas!
